This is a Philips Sonicare 5950 Series electric toothbrush with two brushing modes and three intensity levels. Philips positions it for people moving up from a manual toothbrush. It may suit anyone who wants built-in timers and a pressure alert to guide their daily brushing.
Product details
- In the box: 1 handle, 2 C3 Two-in-one brush heads, 1 travel case and 1 USB-A charging stand
- 2 modes (Clean and Gum Health) with 3 intensity levels each
- Pressure sensor gives a haptic pulse when you press too hard
- BrushPacer cues every 20 seconds; SmartTimer signals the end of a 2-minute session
- Philips lists up to 21 days of regular brushing per full charge
- Color: black; model HX7131/03
Why you might like it
- If you tend to scrub hard, the pressure sensor is designed to let you know when to ease up.
- If you want help brushing for the full two minutes, the timers split the session into 20-second sections.
- If you sometimes have sensitive gums, Philips suggests the Gum Health mode, and the intensity can be turned down.
- If you travel, a protective case for the handle is included.
Good to know
- A power adapter is not included; the charging stand uses USB-A, so you will need a USB-A wall plug or port.
- The plaque-removal and gum-health percentages in the listing are Philips' own claims.
